Update as of July 2007

  1. Non-Dairy Creamer - some people have noticed that the use of non-dairy creamer tends to sensitize the foods that they eat such that they develop an allergic reaction after eating that food later, not in conjunction with the non-dairy creamer.
  2. Extra Virgin Olive Oil - some people have reported that prolonged usage of extra virgin olive oil exclusively (years) has sensitized them to certain compounds found in the oil. Typical allergic reactions occur after eating anything with extra virgin olive oil or ripe olives in it. Eating regular olive oil does not cause the reaction.
  3. DHEA - long term usage of DHEA causes heat in the heart meridian. See if you have a sore spot on your sternum in the atrea between your breasts. If so, stop taking the DHEA and massage the area. After a few days or so, the soreness will dissipate.
  4. High Fructose Corn Syrup - High Fructose Corn Syrup seems to be converted directly into cholesterol and also causes heat in the heart meridian. Read the labels of the food products that you buy to avoid this compound.
