Chapter SIX

Barbara Ann Brennan

Ms. Brennan refers to four separate states of beingness which begins in the Divine realm and ends in the physical realm. Please refer to her book. The Monad of the Core Energy of the Divine Individuality is the place from which all our creative energies are said to arise. She says that it is the eternal fountainhead within each of us. She says that this is located in the center of the body about one and one-half inches above the navel. However, it is my experience that it is behind me on a level with the Heart Node. My Core Star splits into two polar opposites which then brings into being the seven Chakras or Nodes as the Chakral Linear Matrix. The poles are at the Basal and Crown Nodes. The origin of the Core is far behind my back and the two poles at the Basal and Crown Nodes are on the circular rim of this Core Energy within my body. It is as if my energy body is a trumpet. The Core is the mouthpiece and the rim of the trumpet is my energy body in the physical realm. The back-to-front triad (-1,0,+1 or past, present, future) sets up the field which allows the side-to-side, left-hand and right-hand, triad (-1,0,+1) energies to oscillate within the rim and give expression to the seven Chakras/Nodes. Balanced side-to-side energies allows the Nodes to open and give expression to the Rainbow Body or the Aura. This Auric Field in turn generates the morphogenic field within which the physical body is generated and maintained. The distribution of Subtle Energy within the physical body is through the nadis and meridians.

Ms. Brennan states that the four "bodies" overlap, with the Core Star being the most subtle. Next in progression from the Core to the physical is a state termed the Haric after the Japanese concept of the Hara (power and intention). A thin line is said to run through the centerline of the body starting about three and one-half feet above the head. This first point is said to look like an inverted funnel. It is said to carry our reason to incarnate and connects us to our higher spiritual reality. The second point is on the level with the sternum of the chest. It is said to bring a spiritual longing to accomplish our life's work. Ms. Brennan calls this point the seat of the soul. The third point is the "Tan Tien" (Dantian) of Chinese martial arts, the source of power and the will to live in the physical body. It is said to be located two and one-half inches below the navel. The line which starts above the head descends into the Earth to connect to the molten core of the Earth. Being connected to this core, or being "grounded", allows healers to gather great power to use for healing in others.

The next level from the core to the physical is said to be that of the Aura. The Chakras distribute the Auric energies to the physical body. Ms. Brennan states that there are seven levels of the human energy field. Her concepts are different from mine and I would prefer that you read her work and judge for yourself.

For me, the Nodes or Chakras; Basal, Sacral, Solar, Heart, Throat, Brow and Crown; are also positioned in roughly the same places where the major neuro-endocrine and endocrine organs/glands of the body develop. Thus we also have the correspondences of the table which follows:

As I mentioned, the Yogis always allude to the Kundalini and whether a person is able to make it rise from the Basal Chakra. Yoga relates three energies of the Kundalini called the Ida, Pingala and Sushumna. When the Ida and Pingala energies are balanced, the Sushumna is said then to rise. The Ida corresponds to positive energy and the Pingala to negative energy. A secret is being revealed here: if you balance the positive and negative energies in a dynamic manner and not in a static manner which collapses the field, you have energy which you can direct and utilize for everyday living! Something else, the Kundalini is always rising for the -2 through +2 Chakras. Apparently only enlightened persons are able to maximally open the Basal and Crown Chakras. Only then, the Kundalini is said to be risen. Otherwise, the two Chakras are small and pointed straight down and up respectively.

This is the basis for what I believe to be the five expressions of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A table of correspondences follows:

The energies which flow through the Nodes are usually pictured in a two dimensional manner on a sheet of paper when in reality they do flow in a three dimensional manner. The energies also flow both directions from the Nodes as one would expect. Picture if you please a spiral starting outside the left side of your head, into your head and down exiting from the right hand and foot. Also, a spiral starting outside the right side of your head, into the head and exiting from the left hand and foot.

The sum of all the individual Nodal energies create the overall polarity of the body. The right hand and foot energies are positive while the left hand and foot energies are negative. The right hand spiral is counter-clock-wise (CCW) and the left hand energies are clock-wise (CW). Thus for each Nodal point, the energies become the opposite polarity as it ascends or descends through the Node. An example is the Caduseus or Staff of Hermes. Where the snakes cross each other is a nodal point. Snakes and Dragons have represented these energies since antiquity. The energies and the Nodes (field) appear together in a similar manner as that of an electric current. Turn off the current flow and the field collapses and energies dissipate. Being alive means allowing the "current" to flow and thus maintain the energies and field simultaneously.

The energy that we transform and which is derived from food generates additional sublime energies apart from the high energy bonds of adenosine-tri-phosphate (ATP), which is the end result of burning oxygen with hydrogen in a very controlled manner within the mitochondria of each cell's cytoplasm. I will not delve into cellular biochemistry. There are many good texts concerning cellular anatomy, cellular physiology and intermediary metabolism. Any good text concerning cell biology or biochemistry will do adequately. ATP is used to perform work in the physical realm, and is necessary in order to keep body and soul together. On all levels of existence, the reality of that existence is such that both the sublime and the dense must work together in order for a whole and complete entity to exist in the physical realm.
